Isaiah y Los Peros

From the moment we introduced Isaiah to Quincy he has not left his side. In fact the first week Quincy stopped eating because he was so obessed with being on "baby duty." It was only last week that he decided he didn't need to get up for all the night feedings. Nugget on the other hand has barely even given Isaish a second glance. As long as tennis balls exist in the world Nugget's attention will forever be taken.

Our Dachshunds

We love our four legged bambinos, always have always will. Quincy and Nugget will forever be the first babies that entered into our lives.

Dreamland

Jaime and I love to watch Isaiah when he first doses off to sleep. He is such a dreamer and it is written all over his face. He laughs, smiles, puckers his lips, sighs and frowns. In this video Jaime captured our favorite moment-when he flashes one of his adorable, heart melting grins.

3 Days Old

Isaiah has been so alert and aware of his surroundings from the moment he entered this world. During his first hospital bath he began to cry and I called out to him from the hospital bed. I said, "Isaiah it's ok, mommy loves you." And wouldn't you know there was a long pause in his cry. As though he had to stop and think, "hey I know that voice." In this video he is only 3 days old and look at how attentive he is to his mobile. What can I say our little man is special:)

Week One/Two

Jaime was able to take two weeks off after Isaiah was born. Along with our wedding and honeymoon week those were the best and happiest days of my life. I was on this natural high, so in love with my husband and my happy, healthy baby boy I knew life couldn't be any better!

Our Arrival Home

I was released from the hospital on Friday 3/5/10, so just in time for the weekend and just in time for BBQing and celebration. Both sides of the family came to celebrate and enjoy our new little one. Once the weekend was all over there was no need to remind myself (because my body was SHOUTING)that oh yeah, I just gave birth LESS THAN A WEEK AGO:) But we had a wonderful weekend introducing Isaiah to his family.

The Proud Grandparents

Isaiah is the first grandchild to Betty and Javier and the first grandson to my parents Carol and Gary. They were all beaming when they met him.
