"I Go Walking-Part I"
These are some of the wonders of life that envelop our neighborhood.
We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful community.
Daily Walks & The Great Outddors
We live in an amazing Community. There is wildlife galore-hawks, whopping cranes, coots, owls, geese, and ducks to name a few. An array of plant life surrounds us-from our neighbors beautifully landscaped yards to the preserved Wetlands that sit along side the waking trail. And I can't forget the 57 acre lake in the center of it all that is filled with large and small mouth bass. With all these amenities it is impossible not to treasure our daily walks and enjoy the extraordinary place we live.
Park
We spend a lot of time at different parks around town. I am loving the fact that the boys are starting to play with one another there. The swings are the least of their favorites. They both love going up and down the slides and climbing on all the equipment.
Football Season, By the By
Jaime is an NFL enthusiast. So much so that his passion and enjoyment for the game has rubbed off on me and the boys. Every Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday when football would be on the television Jonathan would shout out "Football!" Because this was not deliberately taught to him, we marveled at his eager exclamation every time. After the Superbowl, Isaiah has repeatedly asked to watch football only so be sadly informed that the season is over.

Apple Mania
Isaiah loves playing on my I-Pad and I-phone. Jonathan has recently discovered the fun that can be had on these devises too. They both know it usually can be found on my night stand. Isaiah helps himself to it and is able to bring up his applications while Jonathan goes up to my nightstand and points to it saying "I-PAD, I-PAD," when he wants a turn. The applications created for little ones are incredible. Some of Isaiah's favorites are: Endless ABC's, Curious Zoo, Elmo Loves ABC's, and Pirate School. Jonathan loves to bring up the book, "Another Monster At The End of This Book," (an updated version of one of my childhood favorites-"The Monster at the end of this Book").

Jonathan at 15 months
Entry: January 2013
-Jonathan is a talking, singing maniac. Jaime and I like to create little "jingles" for the boys or we repeatedly sing familiar songs from their favorite programs and it has definitely rubbed off on Jonathan. Some of his favorites that he chimes are: "Babies...babies... we were all once babies," from Yo Gabba Gabba, or the jingle "Johnjohn" that Jaime made just for him.
-His top and bottom molars (FOUR MOLARS TOTAL) have all come broke through this month. NO MORE DROLL!!!!

-The other day he got his foot caught in between the bars on the bottom of our coffee and from the other room I hear "I'm stuck, I'm stuck." I could not believe my eyes when I go to find that it is Jonathan stuck and calling for help-I thought it was Isaiah.
-Everyday he says a new word and attempts a semi-sentence. "I want that," and thanks to the continually WHY?" from Isaiah, Jonathan now is always asking why too. I will say, "Jonathan be careful," and he goes WHY? Jonathan don't throw that toy...followed by why??? He also likes to say "what?" In the morning when I go to get him from his crib, I always open the with a "Good morning!" and he responds with "What?"
-THAT ONE, THAT ONE is one of his favorite phrases.
-He is always using his manners and says please and thank you. When I give him his breakfast in the morning-on beat, he says "Yank OUUUUU."
-He loves Oreo Cookies.

-He has been attempting to hop and do somersaults. This is not something your average 15 month is attempting to do, but Jonathan is so in-tune with what Isaiah says and does it seems as though he is one step ahead of the curve.
-He loves to give Nugget and Quincy their treats in the morning. (Every morning before giving the dogs breakfast I give them their daily treat).
-He is obsessed with his fishing pole. We go on daily walks and he insists on holding it the whole two miles.
-Takes one 2.5 hour nap/day usually mid morning.
