Isaiah Four years old, Jonathan 2.5 years old
Another great day of being out on Whiskey Town Lake with my family. As we boarded the boat that morning we were greeted by a family of geese. If that was any indication of how enjoyable the day was going to be, I'd say Boat ON! The lake was pristine, the air was clear. The boys had a great time touring the lake by boat, swimming, fishing, being outdoors and island hoping.

Six LONG Years...
June 22, 2014
Isaiah 4 years old, Jonathan 2.5 years old
Before heading out for massages and dinner on our sixth wedding anniversary we snapped this family photo selfie. At dinner Jaime and discussed our marriage and how incredible these two boys have made it. It's been a TRUE struggle at times, but the happy times caring for our family far outweigh the stressful clamor. Jaime and I had both been so sure that Isaiah and Jonathan made our family complete. Maybe it was just a visceral response from having two babies born so close to each other? But on this special night we began to ponder the possibilities of adding another charming Torres to our clan of FOUR.

These boys love their dad with all their hearts. We made sure to make it a special one for him, by taking him out to breakfast:) Besides wrestling and chasing each other around the house, the boys still love fishing with their PA!

As much time as these boys spend with me, it's impossible for some of my feminine tendencies not to wear off on them:) This particular morning they thought it would be fun to try on some of my high heals and jewelry. Later that afternoon as I was snapping pictures of their new (manly) summer haircuts I chuckled at the earlier hour photos I had taken of them playing dress up.

Dinosaur Cafe-Orlando 2014
May 2014
Isaiah 4 years old, Jonathan 2.5 years old
Our seven days in Orlando were packed full of activities each and everyday. But we knew we could not leave Orlando without visiting The Dinosaur Cafe. All three boys (Isaiah, Jonathan, and Andrew) are obsessed with dinosaurs. On our last day before heading to the airport, thank goodness we were able to go have lunch there. What a cool experience! It was literally eating among the dinosaurs. After lunch, the boys got to "Build A Dinosaur" (like Build-A-Bear only creating stuffed dinosaurs). And then it was off to the airport. The boys got ALOT of smiles from strangers as they both carried their new fluffy friends atop their shoulders emulating how they had been carried countless times over the last week. These stuffed dinosaurs have become their sleeping buddies. Neither one of them can sleep without their dinosaur by their side.

The Whole Truth, And Nothing But the Truth...
April 2014
Isaiah 4 years old, Jonathan 2 years old
Suspiciously, he walks out of the bathroom, hurriedly closing the door behind him and says, "Mama don't go in there Johnjohn got all wet." I walk in to find puddles of pee with globs of soaking wet toilet paper all over the bathroom floor. I ask Isaiah, "did you do this?" He matter of fact answers, "no, Johnjohn did." I ask again, and get the same matter of fact (sweet) response from him. In my twisted mind I actually start to to imagine Jonathan attempting to use the potty... mind you Jonathan still wears diapers. CONVOLUTED I TELL YOU!!! I'm thinking there is no way my innocent four year old could be out right lying to his mother or placing blame on his dear brother. Fortunately, I am snapped back into reality when I call Jaime up to the bathroom. It took Jaime one time of sternly asking, "Isaiah did you do this?" And he broke. Tears starting streaming down his face and he immediately responds "I'm sorry Daddy." After apologizing to his brother for falsely accusing him, he was sent to bed an hour early. I think WE both learned a VITAL lesson that night.

Does this look like a face that could lie to his mother?!?!
And accuse his brother...who I know he DEARLY LOVES!??!
Oh, my sweet four-year old we both have much to learn.
