What better place to go on our first FULL fledged family vacation than MAUI? Jaime and I honeymooned on this majestic island back in June 2008 and we were fortunate to go back with Jaime's family this September. Like I mentioned in the previous post, I feel like the boys have both entered into this magical phase. They listen well, they are on great daily routines, we can all talk with each other as a family, and the ease of care isn't half as demanding. So, the timing of this vacation was PERFECT. You know when you're having a bad day and you want to think of something to refocus your positive energy? It is this trip, where my mind meanders to every time. My thoughts go back to the four of us cruising the island in our rental car (the ocean within a hands reach), the boys happily studying their maps, eager for our next adventure, the windows down, listening to the Hawaiian island music on the radio. I go back to eating delicious ceviche and fish tacos out on our hotel balcony breathing in the fresh ocean air. I go back to being with the man I promised FOREVER too (we had so much fun on our honeymoon) and then being there on the island again, experiencing it with OUR children who were only a foreseeable dream five years ago. MAUI 2013- you will forever have my heart.
