Isaiah 3.75 and Johnjohn 2 years old
Jonathan has always been a serious climber but this climbing maneuver took his antics to a whole new level. Thank goodness, Isaiah was with him and had the common sense to come say, " Mama, come quick, JohnJohn!!!... come quick." So out of my bedroom I go to find Jonathan clinging onto the stair rails-8 feet up off the ground, beaming with pride. He had scaled our stair banister to where there was no protection between him and the ground 8 feet below. It took everything in me not to freak out when I saw him. He on the other hand had a huge smile on his face and shouts "look at me Mama!" I immediately grabbed him from above and made sure he understood what a dangerous thing he just did. I was so proud of Isaiah-looking out for his little brother like that. Here's a picture of where the event took place in our house:
