We were so excited to catch a glimpse of Audriana last week in 3D ultrasound. Jaime and I took the boys on a Friday when they didn't have preschool. Turns out she is breech (head up, face up, legs tucked over her like a gymnast). Also my uterus is still anterior meaning it sits between her and my uterus (this could be why her kicks feel so faint), but luckily we got a few face pictures. I just look at them and marvel. As much as they are pictures of her, its still literally impossible to tell what and who she will look like. But for now, it warms my heart to look at these pictures and know this is the adorable little girl growing inside me.
*I'm 30 weeks as I type this and have to say she has been extremely active during the night while I try and sleep. I keep awaking and then feel her jabbing me on the lower left then lower right, then a BIG THUMP like she is shrugging her shoulders or kicking out her legs. This is by far one of my favorite things about pregnancy. There is no denying her presence when she moves around so much, but man oh man does it have to be in the middle of the night!?!?! And like I said, her jabs are much more gentler than the boys, so much that I call them "pows." It's wild each of my kids have had their own unique movement inside me. Isaiah was always giving me these fast, multiple hard jabs. Jonathan's jabs were with purpose and single handed he seemed to deliver one strong punch...wait...another strong punch. With Audriana it makes me laugh because I feel like I'm getting these soft, gentle jabs. It could just be much softer because of the placement of my uterus, but it definitely makes me laugh.
And then I went in for another ultrasound at 36 weeks to see that was wasn't breech any longer and she had a mohawk growing!!!
