My boys have had so much football in their lives that it shouldn't have completely floored me when Jonathan became devastated the day Jaime informed him that DeMarco Murray was leaving the Cowboys to go play for the Eagles. As soon as Jaime said it, Jonathan got this panicked look across his face and I immediately started to record him on my phone. Sometimes it baffles me how well they are in tune with the players and the teams. Constantly when we are out they are spotting all the NFL's team logos and mascots and proclaiming what the logo stands for and saying things like 'look Mom, that person likes the Cheeseheads (Green Bay Packers) or if they see someone with Niners gear on, they immediately say,"Boooo, Niners." Half the time I am getting a lesson on what mascot belongs to what team. These boys amaze me with their football IQ. Hopefully they will be just as knowledgeable in their school studies.
*DeMarco Murray was Cowboy running back 2011-2014 *Ranked No.87 on the NFL TOP 100 Players of 2014. #29 was the first Cowboy Jersey Isaiah and Jonathan sported.
